Our first team to take to the field this year was our Junior D team. Their first match was tough one against Our Lady’s in Templemore which took place on Thursday the 1stof October. They fought harduntilthe end but unfortunately finished with a loss. However, they had better luck in their second match on the 12thof October against Hazelwood College inMitchlestown. They worked hard and fought to the end with a satisfying 2-9 to 2-9 draw. The defence worked extremely well as a unitto put pressure on the Hazelwood’s forwards.

The Senior girls were next to start their championship versus Christ the King on the 14thof October which took place inRathcormack, Cork. The girls showed amazing talent and outstanding teamwork to result in a phenomenal win 9-16 to 1-05.The seniors then faced St.Flannansof Clare in the Munster quater final. This took place on the 27thof November in Tipp Town. The conditions were very poor but did not affect our play.  The girls started strong and kept the momentum throughout the game and came out with an overwhelming win of5-17 to 1-2

The Junior A girls had their first outing against Cahir school in the GAAcentreClonmelon October 20th. The girls had a brilliant start to the championship with a huge win of 8-10 to 1-10. They showed great skill and upcoming young talent. ). Theywere also victorious in their second outing against St. Augustans ofDungarvanwhich was played inBallymacarbryon October 22nd.
