On Friday,21st and Saturday,22nd October,we held our Open weekend for 6th class students.Despite the less than co operative weather(especially on Friday!)we had a fantastic turnout. The girls got to have a little taster of some of the subjects available to them here in Loreto, and were very busy baking cookies, making clay pieces, doing Science experiments, playing the ukulele, designing in Tech Graphics and playing dodge ball......all topped off with some games and a treat before home! Huge thankyou to all the girls and their parents/guardians who came and to the staff who were very happy to help out on both days. There's just a sample of some of the action below!

Congratulations on the successful 6th Class Activity Weekend! The variety of activities sounds engaging and diverse. How do you think this event contributes to fostering a positive connection between the students and Loreto? Also, are there any particular moments or activities that stood out as highlights during the weekend?

To what extent can a single Open Weekend influence students' subject preferences and school choice, and are there follow-up programs to reinforce their initial experiences?
