We would like to thank you for your expression of interest in enrolling your daughter in Loreto Secondary School, Clonmel. We are a small, all girls’ secondary school under the Trusteeship of the Loreto Trust. At this time in 6th class you and your daughter are making a very important decision about choosing the
secondary school that is the best fit for your daughter.

As Principal of Loreto Clonmel, I am very proud of our outstanding achievements in the state exams, our successes in national competitions and our excellent track record in extracurricular events. However, as a parent/guardian I’m sure the most important consideration is your daughter’s happiness. Our lived motto in Loreto Clonmel is ‘Love, Laughter, and Learning’ and we, like you, believe that once your
daughter is happy, she will thrive.

Congratulations to Ms Kennedy and our Senior Basketball Team on their victory over Ballingarry,winning them a place in the South East Regional Final on November 25th.

On Friday,21st and Saturday,22nd October,we held our Open weekend for 6th class students.Despite the less than co operative weather(especially on Friday!)we had a fantastic turnout.The girls got to have a little taster of some of the subjects available to them here in Loreto,and were very busy baking cookies,making clay pieces,doing Science experiments,playing the ukulele,designing in Tech Graphics and playing dodge ball......all topped off with some games and a treat before home!
Huge thankyou to all the girls and their parents/guardians who came and to the staff who were very happy to help out on both days.
